<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a built-in photodetector, and capable of simplifying a manufacturing process, and of improving the degree of flexibility of design of an optical sensor element; and an electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This display device 2 having a built-in photodetector has a plurality of pixel regions arranged in a planar form, and a light detection region detecting light, and includes first switching elements arranged in the respective pixel regions, and controlling the switching of drive of the pixel regions, and second switching elements 26 formed on the same layer as that of the first switching elements, and each amplifying a current photoelectrically converted by the optical sensor element 22 formed in the light detection region. Electrodes 78 for sensors connected to the optical sensor elements 22 are formed on the same layer as that of switching electrodes 82 connected to the second switching elements 26, and the other electrodes 76 for sensors connected to the optical sensor elements 22 are formed on the same layer as that of the other switching electrodes 72 arranged on the second switching elements 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
