<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel efficiently manufactured by relatively reducing the thickness of an interlayer film at a contact hole part, particularly, simultaneously forming contact holes and dispersed recessed and projecting parts on the interlayer film in a short time and a method of manufacturing the liquid crystal display panel. <P>SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display panel comprises pixel areas each having a TFT formed between the interlayer film 18 made of a photoresist material and a transparent substrate 11, a pixel electrode 22 formed on the surface of the interlayer film 18, and a contact hole 20 formed in the interlayer film 18 for electrically connecting the pixel electrode 22 and the drain electrode D of the TFT.
