PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing head driving device which can particularly correct an angle error of the printing head and a deviation amount of an LED array chip by a small-capacity memory in relation to a driving device for printing heads used in a printer or the like, and its driving method. SOLUTION: Plotting data in a memory of an I/F controller isθcorrected with the use of a quotient value obtained by dividing correction data by n when video data of one pixel is divided to n dot data. Video dataθcorrected for every video data is sent to an engine control part. Moreover, dot data isθcorrected at the engine control part on the basis of a remainder value obtained by dividing the correction data by the n, and is sequentially transferred to a printing head part. Theθcorrection is thus carried out for every video data and for every dot data, so that even the small-capacity memory is enabled to carry out the correction process.
