The system has a recording sheet carrier that is movable between a discharge position outside the recorder casing (1) and a recording position inside the casing. Information is recorded on a recording sheet placed on the carrier, when it is in the recording position. An opening (13y) is formed in the front surface of the recorder casing, through which the carrier moves between the discharge and recording positions. The recorder casing is formed from a front plate (11), with the opening formed in a forward face (13) of the front plate, and a housing with a floor plate (3), which forms the lower surface of the casing and is behind the front plate. The opening is formed such that its lower end is open and is opened and closed by the cover, in conjunction with the transport of the holder. The bottom end of the cover rotates about hinges at the bottom end of the front plate. The front end of the floor plate borders the bottom end of the forward face with the opening. |
