PURPOSE: A method for informing of the reception of a mail, a mobile communication terminal thereof, a method thereof and a recording medium in which a program for performing the method is recorded are provided to inform a user that a mail is received in a mail server. CONSTITUTION: A connection unit(230) performs the user authentication after connecting to a mail server by using the address information of the mail server stored or inputted in a mobile communication terminal. In case a mail of an authenticated user is received in the mail server, a mail information managing unit(240) receives index information of the mail and then analyzes the index information. An output unit(250) outputs one of a vibration, a sound and a notification message to inform the user of the reception of the mail according to the analysis result.
