PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional position measuring method and three-dimensional position measuring system of vehicle bodies, even in a case of a large-scale measurement object such as a vehicle body, highly accurately measuring a three-dimensional position thereof.SOLUTION: The three-dimensional position measuring method of vehicle bodies includes the steps of: measuring positions of a plurality of origin setup markers 12 attached to the equipment side by a three-dimensional position measuring instrument 14 and setting an original point of three-dimensional coordinates; and attaching a position measurement marker 13 to a vehicle body 1, measuring the position of the position measurement marker 13 and the origin setup markers 12 by the three-dimensional position measuring instrument 14 and measuring a three-dimensional position of the position measurement marker 13 with the original point of the three-dimensional coordinates defined as a reference. The position measurement marker 13 is attached to a positioning jig 16 for positioning the vehicle body 1, and before the vehicle body 1 is positioned, the position of the position measurement marker 13 attached to the positioning jig 16 and the position of the origin setup marker 12 are measured by the three-dimensional measuring instrument 14, and the three-dimensional position, with the position measurement marker 13 attached to the positioning jig 16 defined as the reference, is measured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
