PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation pile which is excellent in both sedimentation resistance and pull-off resistance in an easy manner by using general-purpose tools after it is driven.SOLUTION: In the foundation pile provided with a tapering-off part 30 in a tip 23 of a pipe-shaped pile main body part 20, a tip side member 60 and a rear end side member 40 are provided at a front and a rear sides sandwiching the tip 23 with an interval therebetween. When a distance between the front and the rear sides is compressed to reduce the interval, walls 25, 35 forming the tapering-off part 30 between the front and the rear sides and a pile main body part 20 project toward outside while being divided in a circumferential direction or the walls 25, 35 are provided with an easily-changing means Ts, Ys1, Ys2, Ys3 so as to deform in a form of outwardly projecting or protruding. A bolt 50 is inserted into a through hole 43 provided in the rear end side member 40 and the male screw 57 is screwed into a nut 65 provided in the tip side member 60. After being driven, the interval between the front and the rear sides can be reduced by thread-fastening with a tool inserted into the pipe-shaped pile main body part 20.
