The unit (10) has a fire-resistant bag (20) fixed at a wall of a compartment of a vehicle e.g. standard helicopter. The bag is arranged with a waterproof closing unit (30), where the bag is provided with a vacuum pump (40), and an extinction unit (50) for quenching of fire at inner side (INT) of the bag. The extinction unit comprises an extinguisher that cooperates with a fire detection unit. A temperature detection unit detects temperature inside the bag. The fire-resistant bag is provided with a set of fire-resistant walls. An independent claim is also included for a method for storage of goods in a compartment. |
