Provided are a power control apparatus and a method for supplying power using the same. The method for controlling a supply of power by the power control apparatus includes: (a) a step of predicting a power generation pattern of power generation equipment and a power consumption pattern of the power consumption devices separated into a plurality of classes; (b) a step of controlling a target balance rate of a power storing device based on the prediction for the power consumption pattern and the power generation pattern; and (c) a step of supplying the power to the power consumption device through a power supply source according to the controlled target balance rate. The power supply source includes at least one of the power supply, the power generation equipment, and the power storing device. At least one power supply source supplies the power according to each class.
