The present embodiment provides an apparatus for providing a file safety deleting function. The apparatus includes a request inputting part which receives a file deleting request to delete at least one among stored files in a device from a user; a file deleting part which deletes a file included in the deleting request; and a file safety deleting part which covers a region including the file-stored region with a dummy value to prevent the recovery of the file deleted by the file deleting part. So, the file can be safely deleted. |
