The present invention relates to a system and a method for detecting a collision with a pedestrian, and more specifically, to a system and a method for detecting a collision with a pedestrian, accurately determining whether a collision is a collision with a pedestrian or a collision with a non-pedestrian by using a pressure sensor, an acceleration sensor or the like. The system and the method for detecting a collision with a pedestrian accurately determine whether a collision is a collision with a pedestrian or a collision with a non-pedestrian by using two pressure sensors, an acceleration sensor and an outer temperature sensor or the like, the two pressure sensors mounted on both ends of a tube, the acceleration sensor measuring impact to the vehicle, and the outer temperature sensor sensing the outer temperature to correct critical values of the pressure sensors and the acceleration sensor in consideration of a bumper deformed depending on outdoor air temperatures. |
