An electrolytic system using a diaphragm cell according to the present invention has an anode portion, a cathode portion, and a separation membrane partitioning the anode portion and the cathode portion from each other. The anode portion is provided with an anode, an anode chamber, and an anode tab. The cathode portion is provided with a silver cathode, a cathode chamber, and a cathode tab. The anode chamber of the anode portion has an anode liquid in which a first medium and a first air pollutant react to each other. The cathode chamber of the cathode portion has a cathode liquid in which a second medium and a second air pollutant react to each other. The first air pollutant is treated by an anodic half reaction and the second air pollutant is treated by a cathodic half reaction. In addition, the electrolytic system using a diaphragm cell according to the present invention simultaneously uses the anodic half reaction and the cathodic half reaction of an electrolytic cell, and thus the air pollutants can be effectively removed and the air pollutant removal can be improved by the air pollutants unlikely to be treated by a single type of reaction reacting simultaneously or sequentially to the mediums of different characteristics. |
