PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walker which is provided with a slide lock mechanism excellent in durability and reliability and which keeps safety even when a height is frequently adjusted. SOLUTION: The slide lock mechanism 10 includes a rack member 20 fixed back and forth on the lower surface of an upper frame member 120, a slide member 30 which pivotally supports a second frame 140 so as to be freely rotatable and is attached to the rack member 20 so as to be slidable back and forth and a pawl member 40 which is arranged in the second frame 140 so as to be freely rotatable back and forth and has a metallic shaft 44, at the end, for fixing the slide of the second frame 140 by engagement with teeth 25 of the rack member 20. |
