PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card which comprises an IC module including a module-side coupling coil and a card body including a circuit sheet provided with a card-side coupling coil on a circuit sheet base material, in which the card-side coupling coil and the module-side coupling coil face each other to achieve transformer coupling, which enhances the efficiency of transformer coupling by reducing the diameter of the card-side coupling coil, and can obtain the high communication efficiency by realizing transformer coupling with sufficient strength.SOLUTION: Card-side coupling coils 113a, 113b are provided on the upper and lower surfaces of a circuit sheet base material 111 so as to face each other. Since magnetic field lines are generated from both coils, even when the diameters thereof are reduced, strong transformer coupling is realized with a module-side coupling coil, and thereby the communication efficiency can be enhanced. Moreover, since the diameters are reduced so as to be closer to the size of the module-side coupling coil, the efficiency in transformer coupling can be enhanced with reduction in the leakage magnetic flux.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
