Provided is a method of driving an electronic device capable of driving an electronic device using a brain wave. According to an aspect of the invention, the method comprises: a brain wave receiving step for receiving a brain wave; a brain wave analyzing step for classifying and extracting the brain wave received according to a frequency of the brain wave; a pairing determination step for generating a pairing signal by determining whether a change in the brain wave extracted corresponds to a pairing pattern; a driving pattern discrimination step for determining whether a change in the brain wave corresponds to a driving pattern; an alternate display step for displaying pictures and letters alternately; and a brain wave change discrimination step for determining a change in the brain wave between when the pictures are displayed and when the characters are displayed.
