PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium having excellent light resistance and moisture resistance of a recording part. SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording medium comprises a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye, a colorant and an adhesive on a support in such a manner that as the colorant, at least one type selected from a group consisting of N-p-tolylsulfonyl-N'-p-(n-butoxycarbonyl)phenylurea, 4,4'-bis(N-p- tolylsulfonylaminocarbonylamino)diphenylmethane, N-p-tolylsulfonyl-N'-3-(p- tolylsulfonyloxy)phenylurea, 4,4'-bis[(4-methyl-3-phenoxycarbonylaminophenyl) ureido]diphenylsufone, 2,2-bis[4-(4-methyl-3-phenyluraidophenyl) aminocarbonyloxyphenyl]propane, 4-(p-tolysulfonylamino)phenol and the like is used, and a compound represented by formula (3) is incorporated in the heat- sensitive recording layer. |
