Provided are a mobile terminal including a touch screen and a method for controlling a medical device by a mobile terminal including a touch screen. The method for controlling a medical device by a mobile terminal including a touch screen comprises: displaying, on a touch screen, at least one identification information corresponding to at least one medical device when the at least one medical device within a predetermined range from a mobile terminal is determined by using position information of the medical devices installed indoors; and displaying, on the touch screen, a user interface for controlling a first medical device corresponding to first identification information in response to a user input for selecting the first identification information among the identification information. The method of the present invention enables a user to conveniently control the medical devices by using the mobile terminal.
