PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the loosening of a needle thread with a simple configuration in an embroidery machine.SOLUTION: An embroidery machine includes an embroidery needle through which a needle thread 30 is inserted, and a take-up lever 22 which vertically swings to pull up the needle thread 30. The take-up lever 22 includes a left plate 22b and a right plate 22c which are a pair of left and right plates, and energizing means (a torsion spring 22d) which performs energization in a direction of pulling up the needle thread 30, and pulls up the needle thread 30 by upward movement in the vertical swing and the energization by the energizing means (the torsion spring 22d). In the left plate 22b and the right plate 22c, there are formed insertion holes 22b-1 and 22c-1 through each of which the needle thread 30 is inserted. The energizing means (the torsion spring 22d) performs the energization in the direction of pulling up the needle thread 30 in a part located between a part (30-2) which is inserted through the insertion hole 22b-1 in one of the left plate 22b and the right plate 22c and a part (30-3) which is inserted through the insertion hole 22c-1 in the other thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
