PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve lower cost and easier assembling work by forming the structure of holding a latch at a locking position and a lock releasing position to be simple.SOLUTION: A vehicle latching device 1 includes a casing 10, a latch 20 rotatable to a locking position where a hook part 23 is engaged with a rod-like part 91 and a lock releasing position where the hook part 23 is disengaged from the rod-like part 91, a first pressing member (tensile spring 40) for pressing the latch 20 toward the locking position, and an oscillation member 50 provided in the casing 10 in a swingable manner and pressed toward the rod-like part 91 when the latch 20 is at the locking position to hold the rod-like part 91 with the hook part 23. The oscillation member 50 includes a latch engaging part 52 engaged, in a state where the hook pat 23 is disengaged from the rod-like part 91 and the casing 10 is separated from a fixed surface F1 more than at the locking position, with an engaging part (first projection 24) provided in the latch 20 to hold the latch 20 at the lock releasing position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
