PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste water treating equipment which is capable of suppressing the degradation in waste water quality when a large volume of the waste water flows into a treating vessel even in the case a fore process step of the treating vessel is not provided with a flow equalization function. SOLUTION: This equipment has the treating vessel 20 for subjecting the waste water flowing therein to an aeration treatment and a sedimentation separation tank 30 for settling and separating the sludge-component included in the treated water from the treating vessel 20 and discharging the supernatant liquid from an outlet 32 and is provided with an outflow port 24 from the treating vessel 20 to the sedimentation separation tank 30 in a position higher than the outlet 32 of the sedimentation separation tank 30 and is equipped with a communicative connection pipe (air lift pipe 25) installed from the treating vessel 20 to the sedimentation separation tank 30 in such a manner than a horizontal pipe section 25c passes a position lower than the outflow port 24.
