PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black matrix by which respective color filters of red (R), green (G) and blue (B) can be easily and precisely aligned, when the color filters are layered on the upper part of the black matrix formed on a substrate. SOLUTION: With respect to a liquid crystal display device containing the black matrix and the color filters formed on the upper part thereof, the black matrix containing a plurality of alignment marks is provided for the purpose of effectively controlling a miss alignment phenomenon of the color filters easily generated especially when a substrate of large surface area is handled to realize a further improved liquid crystal display device. |
