PURPOSE:To reduce occurrence of fog due to rapid processing by processing a photographic sensitive material specified in silver chloride content and containing a specified cyan coupler with a liquid color developer specified in sulfite concentration and with a bleach-fixing solution specified in pH. CONSTITUTION:The photographic sensitive material has an emulsion layer containing silver halide grains composed of >=80mol% silver chloride, and at least one of the cyan couplers represented by formulae I and II in which R13 is a ballasting group; Z is H or a group to be released by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; Y is -COR14, -CONHCOR14, or the like; and R14 is alkyl, alkenyl, or the like. This photosensitive material is processed with the liquid color developer containing the sulfite in an amount of <=4X10<-3>mol per l of the developer and with the bleach-fixing solution adjusted to 4.5-6.8, thus permitting the photosensitive material to be rapidly developed while reducing occurrence of fog. |
