PURPOSE:To fasten the color image of a color photographic material to light and to eliminate stains on a white background by coating a support made of a material except paper with a hydrophilic colloid containing a specified pyrazoloazole type coupler and a nondecolorable dye. CONSTITUTION:The nonpaper support is coated with the hydrophilic colloid containing the pyrazoloazole type coupler represented by formula I and the nondecolorable dye having a spectral absorption peak of >=500nm, such as a compound of formula I, and in these formulae, each of Za and Zb is =CR2- or =N-; each of R1 and R2 is H or a substituent; X is H or a group to be released by the coupling reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent; each of R11-R18 is H, halogen, alkyl, or the like, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive material to be improved in the long term storage stability of the defect of the pyrazoloazole type coupler, enhanced in color reproductivity, fastened in the color image to light, and small and not liable to increase in white ground stains. |
