PURPOSE:To obtain the titled preparation suitable as a remedy for hypertension, by adding a specific amount of unsaponified soybean oil to nifedipine and coating the obtained liquid with a gelatin base. CONSTITUTION:1pt. of nifedipine [4-(2'-nitrophenyl)-2,6-dimethyl-3,5-dicar bomethoxy-1,4-dihydropyridine] is mixed with 5-30pts. of unsaponified soybean oil. The mixture is used as a content liquid and is coated with a gelatin base to obtain a gelatin capsule preparation having moderate slow-releasing property (a releasing rate between a commercially available soft gelatin capsule and a slow-releasing tablet).
