CONSTITUTION:A music card 13 stores the number N of tones to be used in the designated piece of music, an address showing the position of storing the musical tone parameter data of each tone, and a standard musical tone parameter data Ds corresponding to the each tone number PIN for the number of tones. For a musical tone parameter data read processing, a CPU 10 reads in the musical tone parameter designation data of the tone number PIN from the address of the music card 13 and reads out an original musical tone parameter data Do in a ROM 11 designated by the tone number PIN. Then, the original musical tone parameter data Do is converted by the standard musical tone parameter data Ds so as to obtain a new musical tone parameter data DN.
