<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the production amt. of ozone by visualizing an electrostatic latent image with a developer containing n-semiconductor fine particles deposited on metal. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic latent image is formed on an org. photoconductive body. This image is visualized with an electrophotographic developer containing a toner and n-semiconductor fine particles deposited on metal. The n-semiconductor fine particles are preferably titanium oxide, and zinc oxide, titanium hydroxide, zinc hydroxide, tin oxide, etc., may be used. The metal as a carrier is preferably gold, silver, or platinum. Namely, ozone or the like is reduced by the carrier metal and org. matter such as ammonium ion is decomposed by oxidization on the surface of the semiconductor. As for a binder resin, pigment, and dye, any material conventionally used can be applied.</p> |
