RUBBER JOINT WITH FLEXIBLE FLANGE AND MANUFACTURE OF THE SAME

PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive durable rubber joint which is reliable and demonstrates characteristics of rubber by joining an engaging ring 4 which has a long wedge-shape cross section with an engaging recession positioned in a lower part of a flexible flange which has the same incline with the engaging ring 4. CONSTITUTION:A composition of an unvulcanized rubber molded body GF of a linear cylindrical rubber which is shown by a dotted line in the figure composed of an engaging ring having a long wedge-shape cross section and an engaging form of a flexible flange is formed in sequence on a molding device of a middle mould. The cylindrical unvulcanized rubber is compression molded by an actuation mechanism of the middle mould into a rubber joint with a flexible flange which forms a circular buldge 6a of the circular rubber joint part 6.
