METHOD FOR DEODORIZATION, DEODORIZING FILTER AND AIR CLEANER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for deodorizing capable of raising a deodorizing efficiency by the sufficient adsorption performance of acetaldehyde even at a high space speed. SOLUTION: The method for deodorizing comprises a step of adsorbing acetaldehyde to a porous material 1 having a peak of a pore size distribution in a range of 4.0 to 7.1 Å of the pore size. An intermolecular force is effectively operated between the molecules of acetaldehyde and the material 1 by using the material 1 having the peak of the pore size distribution in the range of 4.0 to 7.1 Åof the pore size. Thus, the adsorption performance of acetaldehyde can be raised as compared with that of other adsorbent.
