PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a recording layer by a spin coating method and to enhance light fastness and storage stability by providing a recording layer containing a phthalocyanine compd. represented by a specific formula on a substrate. SOLUTION: In a write-once recording medium containing phthalocyanine coloring pigment excellent in the solubility to an org. solvent and capable of being reproduced by a CD-ROM driver, the recording layer is formed on a substrate by adding a phthalocyanine compd. represented by formula (wherein X1-X4 are an alkoxy group or a fluorine-substituted alkoxy group, a-d are an integer of 1 or 2, a center metal M is Si, Ge or Sn and L1 and L2 are a substitutent having a urethane bond). The phthalocyanine compd. represented by the formula is enhanced in the solubility to a general-purpose org. solvent and has the good reflectivity and signal modulation degree to laser beam used in the recording and reproduction of a write once CD or CD-ROM standard optical recording medium. |
