PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub, by which water overflowing from the upper end of the bathtub can be prevented from leaking out from an entrance to the outside of a bathroom by adopting a bathroom in which a difference in level of an entrance is decreased or removed, and maintenance such as cleaning or the like in the bathroom can be facilitated to reduce the cost and improve the appearance of a wash plate. SOLUTION: The upper end surface of an apron 1 is exposed adjacent to the outside of the upper end part of a bathtub 11, and a slitlike overflow hole 2 opened along the upper end part of the bathtub 11 is protrusively formed on the upper end surface of the apron 1. Overflowing water from the upper end of the bathtub 11 through the overflow hole 2 is let flow downward through the inside of the apron 1 or the back side thereof and discharged to the outside of a bathroom from the rear side of the spron 1. |
