PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate interference to a camera lens by providing a mechanism projecting out of the camera main body in a direction of an object in interlocking with panning/tilt motions to the camera main body. SOLUTION: The camera main body is provided with a mechanism projecting out of the camera main body in a direction of an object in interlocking with panning/tilt motions. That is, the camera is made up of a rack 1 provided on a main body bottom side, a sector pinion 2, a pinion shaft 3, a rotary base 4, a motor shaft 5, a motor 6, a bracket and a cover. After the sector pinion 2, the pinion shaft 3, the rotary base 4, and the motor shaft 5 are assembled by a prescribed method, they are integrated and turned altogether in interlocking with the rotation of the motor shaft 5. Since the rotary motion of the pinion 3 is transformed into a linear motion by the rack 1, the camera main body fitted to a dovetail groove made in the base 4 is moved straight along with the dovetail groove. |
