发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF LEAD-ACID STORAGE BATTERY
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a lead-acid storage battery, in which temperature rise in the jar chemical formation process of battery is suppressed without using any cooling equipment by executing this process finally. SOLUTION: In manufacturing a lead acid storage battery, a positive electrode having not yet undergone a chemical formation process is solely charged, and a battery is configured with the charged positive electrode and a negative electrode having not yet undergone chemical formation, and then a jar chemical formation of battery is performed. Accordingly the initial period of chemical formation when the positive electrode runs temperature maximally with Joule's heat, is not conducted in a battery jar which has poor possibility of heat radiation, which permits suppression of the temp. rise of battery in the jar chemical formation to be done afterward. Because the optimum temp. condition is around 40 deg.C in the chemical formation process, no equipment to cool the battery is required to lead to reduction of the running cost.
