PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact connector for an IC card to meet multiple kinds of IC cards varying in size or shape and, when one IC card is inserted, not to affect contact for the other IC card. SOLUTION: An insertion hole is formed by sharing an overlapping part in width and thickness and extending not-overlapping parts in the direction of width and thickness between an insertion slit of a first or a second IC card having roughly the same length, width, and pitch intervals of electrodes as each other and a different number of electrodes from each other, and an insertion slit of a third IC card narrower in width, longer in length and thicker in thickness than the first or the second IC card. A contact for the first or the second IC card is installed frontward of a stopper for the first or the second IC card installed midway of the insertion hole, a contact for the third IC card installed rearward of the stopper, and a dummy contact lower than the contact for the first or the second IC card installed between the contact for the first or the second IC card and the insertion slit. |
