In the corners where the door or window (18) butts against the frame (34), protective vertical strips (4,6) are fastened to the door (18) and the frame (34), by screws (16,30). The strips have upright screen plates (10,26) which prevent the insertion of a lever to force the door. When the door or window is closed the two parts each protect the fixing screws of the other part.
