摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of a quench in a superconducting coil device to the utmost by a method, wherein the coil device is provided with a cooling unit for cooling a superconducting coil via a cooling part and a cooling storage part for inhibiting a temperature rise of the superconducting coil. SOLUTION: A cooling part 22 and a cooling plate 30 of a refrigerator 20 come into contact directly with each other in a contact part 31, and a cooling storage part 60 is not made to interpose between both of the cooling part 22 and the cooling plate 30. This cooling storage part 60 is set so as to increase its heat capacity for inhibiting the temperature rise of a superconducting coil 11 at trouble of the refrigerator 20 or the like. Here, the part 60 is provided over the entire region of the outer peripheral part of the plate 30, excluding the contact part 31 which comes into contact with the part 22 of the plate 30. Moreover, the part 30 is constituted of an ErNi based material, an EuS based material, a GdRh based material, an HoCu based material, an HoErRu based material, an ErNiCo based material or a Pb material, which specially has a high specific heat at a cryogenic temperature in the vicinity of the critical temperature of the coil 11.
