PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a life insurance transaction by performing an authentication by use of the account number and personal identification number of a bank. SOLUTION: The account number of the bank is stored in a bank authentication customer number retrieval database 2 in conformation to the customer number of a life insurance company. The customer inputs the account number and personal identification number of the bank through the counter telephone 24 of the life insurance company or the ATM terminal 30 of the bank. The bank performs the authentication on the basis of the account number and the personal identification number. The life insurance company reads out the customer number of the life insurance company corresponding to the account number of the bank from the bank authentication customer number retrieval database 22, and executes a life insurance transaction processing when the authentication is successful.
