PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly obtain image data from a server on a network and also to interpret plural image data formats existing in the server to perform an image output. SOLUTION: When a printing parameter about the printing of data stored by a server connected to a network is inputted from an operating part, an image input-output device which is connected to the network and prints an image accesses a server 12 in accordance with the printing parameter and acquires corresponding data. The class of the file is analyzed based on the extension of this acquired data file, and the data is subjected to image expansion and is printed by a printer part 2 by using a facsimile part 4 or a formatter part 8, etc., based on the analysis.
