PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera that can transfer data to an external device with a simple operation. SOLUTION: The digital camera 100 calculates a total file number and/or an entire file size of still picture files to be transmitted and transmits the result as file information and then sequentially the actual still picture files to a server device 400. On the other hand, the server device 400 first receives the file information and sequentially receives the still picture files, discriminates the end of transfer of the still picture files based on the file information to discriminate the end of data communication and automatically terminates the data communication mode. |
