PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device that employs an LED which is used as a light source to obtain a sure transmission lighting. SOLUTION: Relating to this image pickup device 1 that a light emitted from a light source lights up a component 6 in a read area and its image is formed on an image pickup means 5 via an image forming lens system 4, a reflecting member 8 having a conical reflecting plane 8 at its inside in a way of being spread downward is placed above the rear area S, a plurality of LEDs 10 are placed by surrounding the read area S and the light from each LED 10 is made incident onto the reflecting plane 9 in a downward oblique direction. |
