PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize real time trace on mass production chips with a small number of terminal, and to generate trace information during target execution. SOLUTION: This system 20 is a debug system for generating the trace information of a target system for outputting status information indicating the execution state of a CPU 12. A program information storing part 26 stores information for capturing the machine language instruction sequence of the same program as a program stored on the memory of a target system, and a trace information generating part 27 generates trace information based on information for capturing the machine language instruction sequence and status information.
