METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RECOGNIZING DACTYLOLOGY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect boundary of motions presenting each dactylology word during dactylology sentence motion expressing dactylology words by detecting a time when motion speeds of the palm of the hand and each finger tip are minimized, as a boundary of the motions. SOLUTION: A dactylology data splitting part 104 detects a boundary of each dactylology word and connecting motion (transition motion between dactylology words) in a dactylology sentence data inputted by a dactylology motion input part 101, and splits the dactylology sentence data into the section presenting the dactylology words and connecting motions. A motion feature extracting part 105 extracts information on the features of the motions during each section from those in the dactylology sentence data split by a dactylology data splitting part 104. A split section dactylology word corresponding part 107 makes each section in the split dactylogy sentence data correspond to dactylology words recognized by a dactylology word recognition part 103 based on the contents of a dactylology word information storage part 106, and further, prioritizes the dactylology words made to correspond to each section based on the feature of the motion in each section extracted by the motion feature extracting part 105.
