METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING POISON

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge presence/absence of any toxious substance in a beverage by obtaining the difference between the electric potential when a molecular membrane of an amphipatic or bitterness substance is immersed in the beverage of a specified brand and the electric potential when the molecular membrane is immersed in a beverage of different brand. SOLUTION: A probe 22 is provided with a molecular membrane 25 formed of an amphipatic or bitterness substance, and a voltage detector 35 detects the electric potential of the molecular film 25 to a reference electrode 23 of the probe 22. An arithmetic calculation unit 37 calculates the difference between the electric potential of the molecular membrane 25 when the molecular membrane 25 is immersed in a product beverage of a specified brand containing no poison and the electric potential of the molecular membrane 25 when the molecular membrane 25 is immersed in a product beverage of different or unknown brand. Presence/absence of the poison is judged by comparing the difference with the preset reference value, and the judged result is outputted in an output device 38. The poison in the product beverage can be easily detected without any complicated pre-processing.
