PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus by which stable image formation can be carried out by preventing output variation in image density detection due to variation in output of an image density detection sensor, dark current, delay in response of an amplifier and furthermore, dispersion of optical reflecting ratio of a photoreceptor drum. SOLUTION: In the density detecting means of the image forming apparatus, the stable image density detecting means can be provided by decreasing the reduction in the light emitting quantity of the image density detection sensor and at the same time, preventing the variation in detection output of the image density due to the dark current of the sensor, dispersion of time in starting and closing of the amplifier, etc., and dispersion of light reflecting ratio of the photoreceptor drum. |
