The method of assembly of a ring has a decorative head (13) and a group of rings (15,15a, 15b) of different sizes. An assembly plate (19) for the decorative head can be attached to a base (20) fixed on each ring. The head can be assembled by moulding using a lost wax process. The head can be welded to the assembly plate.
