A door device capable of increasing the food storability of a refrigerator, reducing a door opening force, and increasing an easiness in a handling, and a refrigerator having a power consumption reduced by the door device, wherein biparting doors (46, 47) are provided on the opening part of a storage chamber (44a) on the upper side of a heat insulated box body (43), movable gaskets (73) are installed on the unsupported side side-faces of the doors (46, 47) through holding members (68, 69), and a guide part (48) provided on the top surface of the storage chamber (44a) is allowed to abut on the latch parts (64, 65) of the holding members (68, 69) so as to operate the movable gaskets (73), whereby the simple door device allowing the movable gaskets (73) to be adhered to and apart from each other can be provided. |
