PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile server having such a structure that can ensure an occasion in which the facsimile server which is connected to a plurality of telephone lines and a computer network can be made a facsimile communication by a specific telephone line. SOLUTION: A first FAX server 1 is connected to FAX 1 to FAX 3 of a FAX group 5 in a plurality of telephone lines via lines 8, 9 and a PSTN 4, to make a facsimile communication by a communication procedure of T.30. Further, the first FAX server 1 is connected to a second FAX server 3 via the Internet 2, to make the facsimile communication by the communication procedure of T.38. The first FAX server 1 can set whether to connect to a real-time Internet facsimile communication by the communication procedure of T.38 in each of the plurality of telephone lines.
