PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high bearing reliance and compression efficiency, and a low oil rising quantity in a scroll compressor having structure as to support a turning scroll member with medium pressure of a back-pressure chamber. SOLUTION: In this scroll compressor, a back-pressure chamber is divided into a first space 14a under roughly discharge pressure at its central section and a second space 14b under medium pressure at its outer periphery by a sealing member. Lubricating oil 17 is led to the first space, and the second space is communicated with a compressed space 7 in the cause of compression via a small hole 11. A drain oil passage 18 opened to the first space is provided, and communicates with a drain oil pipe 19 for leading the lubrication oil 17 to its bottom section inside a sealed container 10.
