PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound reproducing device which is able to reproduce sound other than the media such as sound effect, moreover, which does not need a reproducing device dedicated to reproduction of sound other than the media. SOLUTION: The sound reproducing device is provided with a sound data storage means for storing compressed sound data, and a means for reproducing the sound data stored in the sound data storage means, and the compressed sound data stored in the sound data storage means has the same data format as the compressed data recorded in the media, and the means for reproducing the sound data stored in the sound data storage means expands the sound data stored therein using an expansion means for expanding the media data at the time of reproducing the sound data stored in the storage means. |
