PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a KARAOKE device which enables a KARAOKE singer to accurately know the state of his or her singing. SOLUTION: A singing voice signal of KARAOKE singing is inputted to an A/D converter 2 through a microphone 1, The A/D converter 2 converts the singing voice signal into digital data and a data extraction part 3 extracts pitch data and sound volume data from the digitized singing voice signal. The extracted pitch data and sound volume data (singing voice) are inputted to a comparison part 4. A sequencer 7 reads pitch and sound volume data of a guide melody and singing skill data out in parallel to data for a KARAOKE musical performance and inputs them to the comparison part 4. The comparison part 4 compares the singing voice with the pitch and sound volume data of the guide melody to compute and display pitch difference data and sound volume difference data in real time. |
