The sections of hose comprise one or more layers of paper, these being erected at the end from the flat-folded position to form a square base. The side portions so formed are folded so as to overlap, and are glued together. After coating with plastics, these are heated and pressed together to glue them to each other. The plastics, particularly in sheet-form, can be applied to the entire outside surfaces of the hose-sections. These can be transported with their erected ends in the sideways direction, the areas to be glued together being pulled over heated plates or blades. To fold the side-sections inwards a fixed heated straight-edge can be used, with fixed guiding and pressure bars above it. |
